Dr. Leonard Uguru is a distinguished economist and academic from Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
He currently serves as the Commissioner for Finance under the administration of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
With years of experience in financial management and policy development, Dr. Uguru has contributed significantly to the state’s economic planning and fiscal reform.
Before his appointment, he worked as a senior lecturer in the Department of Economics and later served as a consultant for financial strategy and development projects across the Southeast.
