Igbo Billionaires and Millionaires Mentioned in Oliver De Coque’s 1988 Song

At my leisure, I decided that I should compile the names of the Igbo rich men that the legendary highlife musician, Oliver Decoque mentioned in one of his popular songs, Ndi Ogiliga Walu Na Nwa released in 1988. He outlined some young millionaires and billionaires of the Igbo descent of that time. Some of them are still alive, while a good number of them aren’t again. I know of Chief Chuma Achiekwelu who’s now a traditional ruler in Achi, Gov. Hope Uzodimma, Arthur Eze, Princess Njideka Ndiwe of Onitsha and others.

I’m a big fan of Oliver Decoque. I’m close to one of his sons who’s into music as well. My joining People’s Club of Nigeria in weeks is also coming from here. It’s on record that I’m the first person to be able to list the names comprehensively and accurately. It’s just for the joy of so doing and nothing more. Check it out to know if someone from your community is from there.
