The Minister of Education Singapore is now accepting applications for Edusave awards and scholarships for 2024-2025 Academic Session.
This is to inform the general public and parents about the Edusave awards and scholarships. These awards are designed to recognize both academic excellence and non-academic achievements among students.
Overview of the Edusave Scholarships
Here’s a clear overview of the different types of Edusave awards:
Academic Awards
- Edusave Scholarship (ES): For students attending government, government-aided, and specialized schools.
- Edusave Merit Bursary (EMB): Given to outstanding students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance.
- Edusave Good Progress Award (GPA): Awarded to students who show significant improvement in their studies.
- Edusave Scholarship for Independent Schools (ESIS): Specifically for students enrolled in independent schools.
Non-Academic Awards
- Edusave Award for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service (EAGLES): Recognizes students for their leadership qualities and contributions to the community.
- Edusave Character Award (ECHA): Celebrates students who exhibit outstanding character and integrity.
- Edusave Skills Award (ESA): For students in specialized schools, ITE, or polytechnics who excel in specific skills and practical areas.
Please Note: Each student is eligible for only one Edusave academic award (either ES, EMB, or GPA). If a student initially receives the GPA but later qualifies for the EMB, they will receive an additional amount to match the EMB award.
