In the South East of Nigeria today, of course known for their business acumen in Africa, there are a lot of internationally acclaimed business men and women whose wealth are known to come from their business empires.
In this episode, we’re going to list 20 topmost business moguls alive in the South East of Nigeria known as Igbo people. These ones are just the topmost of the thousands of them.
1. Chief Arthur Eze:
Engr Arthur Eze is one of the richest Nigerians alive who majors in oil and gas. He operates within and outside Nigeria with his company called Atlas Oranto Oil. He’s from Ukpo, Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State. He’s a known philanthropist.

6. Chief Cletus Ibeto:
This is one of the most known business men in Africa. From Nnewi, Anambra State, Ibeto owns the popular Ibeto Cement and oil. He’s a philanthropist.
7. Chief Sir Emma Bishop Okonkwo:
The Chairman of Ekulo Group of Companies, with hundreds of people under his employ.

The franchise owners/manufacturers of popular brands like Eva Wine, Goya Oil, Adonko Bitters, Mayonnaise, Sardine, Eva Soap, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Baron de Valls Wine, Don Simon Drink, Meditol Soap, to mention but a few, their headquarters have since shifted to highbrow Victoria Island. With factories and branches scattered here and there.
Decorated as an Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic by ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in 2011, he started out in Onitsha, Anambra State, before berthing years later in Lagos, Nigeria’s then capital, where fame and fortune located him almost immediately.
