Ahead of the inauguration of the President elect on the 29th of May, 2023 at the Eagle Square, Abuja, the APC’s presidential candidate who was declared elected under mysterious grounds, Bola Tinubu has been rumoured to have pencilled down some names for strategic appointments immediately he’s sworn in. Some of them are:
1. Nasir El-rufai: The outgoing Governor of Kaduna State is said to have been designated as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). He’s to replace the outgoing one, Boss Mustapha.
2. Mallam Abdullahi Ganduje: The outgoing Governor of Kano State is also said to have been nominated for the position of Minister of the FCT.
3. Hon. Barr Femi Gbajabiamila: The outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives also rumoured to have been pencilled down for the office of Chief of Staff to the President.
4. Yahaya Bello: On completion of office later in 2023, the outgoing Governor of Kogi State is said to be going into another office as Minister of Youths and Sports or Special Adviser to the President on Youth Affairs.
5. Dr Chimaroke Nnamani: The outgoing Senator representing Enugu East senatorial zone is rumoured to have been pencilled down for the position of Minister under a ministry yet to be named.
