“Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo Nominates Christian Udechukwu As Commissioner For Industry
Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has forwarded the name of Mr Christian Udechukwu to Anambra State House of Assembly, for confirmation as Commissioner for Industry.
Mr Udechukwu who served in the Soludo Transition Committee replaces Dr. Obinna Ngonadi. Both Ngonadi and Udechukwu are from Nnewi North local government.
A statement by Christian Aburime, Press Secretary to the Governor dated April 21, 2023, did not indicate if Dr. Ngonadi, son of billionaire businessman, Chief Humphrey Ngonadi (Ngobros) has been moved to another position, or if he is leaving the Soludo government.
Mr Udechukwu will bring his wealth of experience to bear on the new role. He founded ‘Business In Africa Events’, a London – based consultancy which played active role during the Nigerian banks consolidation exercise, and created several opportunities in Europe and America for Nigerian banks to interface with potential investors.
He is also the Chairman of Osike Holdings which attracted Chinese investors to partner Anambra State government on the International cargo airport project. This was before the government of Willie Obiano decided to go solo on the project.”
