Assoc. Prof. Ogugua Egwu (now ‘christened’ “Associate Professor of Shame”), an indigene of Akpoha Community in Afikpo North (now Afikpo) Local Govt Area of Ebonyi State.
He’s the incumbent ASUU Chairman, FUNAI Chapter, Ebonyi State.
He supervised (as Returning Officer) the Ebonyi South Senatorial Election.
With glaring evidences of over-voting, votes suppression, non-use of BVAS and number of those yet to vote in disrupted polling units weighing over 6X higher than the margin of lead, he went on to declare the incumbent Governor David Umahi of the APC as winner of the election, an action that the Ebonyi INEC Nigeria REC has referenced severally of an “ugly job of a Returning Officer”.
It was alleged that he was induced with N30m and a promise of parcel of land at Centenary City, Abakaliki Ebonyi State.
This is the face of a man who allegedly sold out the mandate of Ebonyi South Constituents for a parcel of land and a small sum.
Though the celebration time is now prolonged by the single action of this #Ogugua(Discomfort), the assurance remains that this ‘stolen’ mandate will be retrieved in shortest time and God will #Gugua (Comfort) Ebonyi South Constituents soonest.
