Kogi Community Under Attack Now

Oganenigu community of Kogi State is currently under attack by the dreaded Fulani Herdsmen.
This has continued repeating year in year out even as government had mediated the last time it happened. “From the look of things, this is the worst so far as comparing to past attacks”, a native yelled.

He continued, “We’re yet to receive any backing from the Kogi State Government. Three local security men who tried to restore peace have been shot dead. Many have been killed, homes burnt down.
Many have been displaced and forced to move to neighbouring villages for safety.
We Call on Kogi State Government and we’ll meaning Nigerians to come to our rescue as this is becoming terrifying and unbearable for my people,” he concluded.

Another said, “the sound of the gun shots don’t even sound local, as they sound like sophisticated weapons.
