Highlights Of The Meeting Of Apga Stakeholders And Members Of The State Working Committee.
At the early hours of yesterday, the leadership of the All progressives Grand Alliance -APGA, Ebonyi State Chapter ably led by Chief Ricky Okorouka Stevens held an all important stakeholders’ meeting/state Exco’s inclusive.
It was the first meeting of the party at the state level since the emergence of Chief Edozie Njoku as the National Chairman of APGA.
However the meeting agenda was nipped-up on possibilities of fostering the way forward for the party especially forging a progressive pathway to victory come 2027 general elections.
The meeting kicked of with an introductory remarks by the state chairman after an all round introduction by the members of the party present.
The chairman in his words expressed apt reading in taking the bull by the horns especially highlighting his readiness to give APGA an unprecedented victory in the next election, an unprecedented landmark achievement which he already recorded in the last poll justifies all his claims hereto.
The members of the party and stakeholders present in the meeting expressed similar readiness in driving the APGA agenda forward following the leading stance of the state chairman.
The various speakers in the meeting expressed their gratitude first to the National Leadership of the party ably led by Chief Edozie Njoku for finding Okorouka worthy as the leader of the party in Ebonyi and in a similar way expressed an all inclusive readiness and solidarity to the Okorouka’s emergence as the state chairman of the party, prayed and promised to support his leadership to thrive.
Other important point worthy of note includes the fact that the state chairman in his wisdom charged all stakeholders of the party to go home and reintegrate all lost APGA stewards, especially those who in one way or the other have been offended by results that emanated from the last elections or by any chance plunged into bitterness by outcome of the 2023 polls.
Most especially, reminding them all in our rural hinterlands and various grassroot levels, the need to embrace the new dawn in the APGA family; However putting them all to a round table understanding of the fact that the new leadership of APGA is one ready to embrace, reward and listen to all and sundry.
These and many other important points were raised and were exhaustively digested by all through proper brainstorming by stakeholders of the party present.
The meeting ended with a motion for adjournment ably led by Joseph Udemezue Akpukwa at about a few minutes past the hour of 5pm and a closing prayer which followed suit.
Signed:
Chief Ricky Okorouka Stevens (APGA Chairman, Ebonyi State)
