Profile of Chief Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi with Nwoba Chika Nwoba
In today’s profile, we shall be taking a look at High Chief Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi, Ph.D. Born in April, 1960, Obijackson as he’s fondly called is from Okija, Anambra State. He had his education at University of Nigeria, Nsukka and University of Benin respectively with a doctorate.
In 1983, he established a business, Obijackson West Africa Ltd in Lagos specializing in engineering, procurement & construction. In 1991, he established the Nestoil Ltd which was incorporated into the Obijackson West Africa Ltd, specializing in exploration and production of oil & gas and allied petrochemical assets majoring in sales of oil & gas products in Nigeria.
An owner of oil wells in Nigeria, Chief Obiejesi is a philanthropist whose gestures resonate across Anambra State and Okija in particular with building and equipment of Women & Children free hospital in Okija, construction of roads in the community, employment of graduates from the area into his conglomerates and bountiful empowerment of women and the underprivileged members of the society.
Some of the businesses of Dr Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi include Hammakop Consortium which is a contractor with the Shell Petroleum, Neconde Conglomerate, Nestoil, Obijackson West Africa Ltd, B&Q Dredging & Marine Logistics Ltd, Watertown Energy Ltd, Smile Telecommunications Holdings, Energy Works Technology Ltd, Royaloak Hydrocarbon Ltd, Impac Oil & Gas Engineering Ltd. He’s also a Non executive director at the Julius Berger Nigeria PLC.
A man of great luxury, he recently acquired for himself a customized Gulfstream G-700 private jet from USA as a latest addition to his collection of jets. To his credit are chieftaincy titles in acknowledgement of his community- based services. He holds the Government of Nigeria’s Order of the Federal Republic — OFR. He’s married with children and a proud grandfather.
