The former Governor of Enugu State and two terms Senator representing Enugu East senatorial zone, Dr Chimaroke Nnamani who was the senatorial candidate of the PDP in the 2023 polls in Enugu State, has called the outgoing Governor of the state, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi a failure over what he, Nnamani described as conspiracy against his reelection by him and his foster political agents in Enugu East senatorial zone.
He alleged that the governor and his men worked for the Labour Party in a bid to halt his (Nnamani) reelection in a secluded poll on the 18th of March, 2023. Nnamani questioned the possibility of his losing in the local government areas the governorship candidate of the party, Barr Peter Mba won in even as the ballots were simultaneous. He regretted trusting the stakeholders who also their reelection bid on the 25th of February, 2023. He called out the member representing Enugu East/Isiuzo Federal Constituency and the candidate of PDP in the polls, Hon. Cornelius Nnaji, member representing Enugu North/South Federal Constituency, Hon. Ofo Chukwuegbo and others for playing against his reelection even as the governorship candidate, Peter Mba won in the same election. He also lambasted the governorship candidate of the PDP for not working hard to deliver him in the areas he had great advantage over the LP candidate.
“Imagine the Characters – Gburus, Egbe, Cornelius Nnaji, Ofo Chukwuegbo, illiterate Speaker Edward Ubosi, Block head Anayo Ede, mesmerized Uche Ejim and still clueless Peter Mba planning election for their own interests and in favor of Mbah! But exept Peter the others are basically “Brainless”
He continued, ““Same accreditation of votes, same party, same election. Only the foolish wicked Gburus, his sidekick and heartless minions will plan this evil. Nkanu West my home, Uche Ejim a guy I was paying rent for, helping him feed his family and nominated him unsolicited for LG chairmanship.
”Labor guys stood bye while they delivered the Urban Assembly seats and Senate to them. And in Brazen selfishness took the Governorship.

Enugu South LGA Peter Mba winning! Chimaroke Nnamani loosing with over 7700 votes, 2 HOA candidates loosing. No whimper from Labor party. Same accreditation of votes, same party, same election. Only the foolish wicked Gburus, his sidekick and heartless minions will plan this evil.
“Nkanu West LGA, Uche Ejim, a guy I was paying rent for, helping him feed his family and nominated him unsolicited for LG chairmanship limited my total votes to 7000 while giving Labour over 4000 votes. At the prompting of Gburus after stuporous slumber woke up to discover results where half way to Enugu.

Dr Chimaroke Nnamani bemoaned the collective conspiracy against him by his Nkanu brothers and sisters moreover the political class he assisted into political prominence. He took to his Twitter handle and vented his anger which according to him was the greatest shocker of his political life.
