Results of the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2024 – Second Series have been released by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
In 45 days following the conduct of the examination across Nigeria, the West African Examination Council, WAEC, announced the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
According to this information, candidates are advised to check their results within 24 hours of the announcement of the results.

What is the procedure for checking WAEC GCE 2024 August/September Second (2nd) Series results?
We are pleased to announce the results of the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2024-Second Series. To check your results, go to http://waecdirect.org.
- Candidates may check their WAEC results by logging onto http://www.waecdirect.org.
- In the required column, enter your WAEC Examination Number. Please select the year of your examination, i.e. 2024.
- You can select a type of examination using the drop-down menu. For example, SECOND SERIES PRIVATE CANDIDATE RESULT.
- You will need to enter the card serial number.
- Please enter the PIN for the card. Once you’ve entered all of the required information, click the “Submit” button to grab your WAEC GCE August/September 2024 results.

- NOTE: To check your WAEC result, you do not need a scratch card.
