KWASU Convocation Ceremony 2024: This page provides details about the Kwara State University (KWASU) convocation ceremony for the award of first and postgraduate degrees, scheduled for Saturday, 14th December 2024.

The ceremony marks the 12th convocation and includes various events leading up to the main day.
The convocation lecture will be delivered by Emeritus Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo on the topic of “The Optimum Utilisation of Nigeria’s Energy Resources for the Sustainable Growth and Development of the Nation”.
Graduands are expected to check their names on the KWASU website and attend a rehearsal on Friday, 13th December 2024.
Convocation charges for undergraduate and postgraduate students are ₦35,000 and ₦60,000 respectively.
Graduands must arrive on campus by 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, 14th December 2024, for the procession, which begins at 8:00 a.m.
Hired gowns must be returned to Faculty Officers by Friday, 20th December 2024, with a fine of ₦500 per day for late returns.
