The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the release of the Direct Entry Registration Form for the 2025/2026 academic session. This provides a significant opportunity for individuals with degrees, diplomas, or A-level certificates to gain direct entry into a university degree program.

Interested candidates can now apply for the Direct Entry (DE) route, which allows them to bypass the standard UTME process and gain admission into 200-level courses at accredited universities. 2025 JAMB UTME/DE Registration Timeline:

• End Date: February 26, 2025

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• National Diploma (ND)
• Higher National Diploma (HND)
• Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
• Advanced Level (A-Level) Certificates (e.g., IJMB, JUPEB)
• Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) A-Level
• Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) A-Level
• NABTEB Advanced National Business Certificate
• NABTEB Advanced National Technical Certificate
• NABTEB GCE-A’ Level (2015 – 2021)
• Higher Islamic Studies Certificate by NBAIS
• International Baccalaureate
• National Registered Nurse / National Registered Midwife

Application Fees:

• Registration Fee: ₦3,500
• Additional Charges:
  • ₦700 for CBT Centre registration service charge
  • ₦1,500 for CBT Centre service charge for mock/UTME
  • ₦500 for bank charges/commission
• Total Cost:
  • Non-MOCK Candidates: ₦6,200
  • MOCK Examination Participants: ₦7,700

Foreign Applications:

• Application Fee: $30
• Process: Specific procedures apply for candidates from nine countries.

Aptitude Test:

• Introduction: An aptitude test has been introduced for DE candidates.

Registration Process:

1. Create JAMB Profile:
   • Text your NIN to 55019 or 66019 in the format: NIN [space] 00123456789.
   • Wait for a confirmation code.
2. Log into the JAMB Portal:
   • Use the received code to access the JAMB portal.
3. Obtain e-PIN:
   • Visit accredited banks, CBT Centres, or online platforms to purchase the e-PIN.
4. Complete Registration at Accredited CBT Centre:
   • Provide the e-PIN and necessary documents to finalize registration.
