I’m Not Behind Anti Nnaji Ministerial Nomination, FCC Commissioner Tor-Ijeoma Declares
The Commissioner in the Federal Characters Commission representing Enugu State, Mrs Ginika Florence Tor-Ijeoma has denied a widely spread publication seeking the withdrawal of the 2023 APC governorship candidate in Enugu State, Chief Uche Nnaji from the president Bola Tinubu’s ministerial nomination list that has been sent out to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
Mrs Ginika Florence Tor-Ijeoma who was frantically ached by the statement of the group,Tinubu/Shettima South East Movement which according to her was credited to her by those she exclusively called fifth columnists in Enugu State fighting her in the APC. She appraised the nomination of Chief Nnaji and thanked President Tinubu for choosing him.
It can be recalled that when the press release of the group surfaced, a cross section of politicians ascribed it to her which according to her was to incite her against the nominee whom she said was a round peg fitting in a round hole with regard to the nomination. The honourable Commissioner warned her traducers to desist from using her name to chase clout and create disharmony in her folk. She urged the nominee to discountenance the threat as he remains nominated. She also charged president Tinubu to go on with the nomination of Nnaji as Minister designate representing the South East at the Federal Executive Council.
She pledged continued support for Mr president whom she said has the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians at heart. She regretted the continued attacks on her person by politicians and agents of destruction afraid of her rise to the top. She assured public that she remains her old good self who will never pull anyone down to rise. She thanked God and her people for where she’s today in government. She promised to remain loyal to the laws of the land and the wish of the general public whom she serves in the capacity of Commissioner in the Federal Character Commission.
