REV. FR. TIMOTHY NGWUTA: UMAHI’S ADMINISTRATION TAKES MONDAY EZE TO COURT OF APPEALS.
The last has not been heard about suit number FHC/AI/CS/73/2022 arising from Gov. Umahi’s reaction to Mr. Eze Monday’s publication on New Telegraph condemning the unlawful detention of a Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Ngwuta, in Abakaliki prisons. Umahi had on 22nd April 2022 ordered for EZE Monday’s arrest following which Mr. Eze took EBSG and Ebubeagu Security Network to court. The sum of N3 million was awarded to Monday Eze as damages including restraining orders against EBSG and Ebubeagu, police and DSS on 1st July, 2022.
