A human trafficking syndicate has been nabbed in Ohaukwu LGA of Ebonyi State by the neighbourhood watch officers in the area. According to the leader of the security outfit, the woman who leads the syndicate was captured as she was preparing to take some girls out to Burkina Faso where usually sends them to.
In his writeup below, he said that the police have taken charge of the entire situation:

SECURITY REPORT. In the early hour of 6th day of April 2023, at exactly 5am in the morning the Neighborhood watch Ohaukwu Command along with Leonard global security Ltd nabbed the following persons involved in human trafficking in Ohaukwu. From the middle is Mrs Onwe Mercy from Inyagu village in amike izhia of Ohaukwu LGA, she is their boss and the rest are the agents who hunt young childrens and young girls for her. The suspect onwe mercy confessed to the crime and narrated how she has been sending young girls out to Bokinafaso . The man at the center is by name Ode Friday who is their private Native doctor, age 30years whose work is to use charm to confuse their clients and to blind the security operatives from having any information about them. The fair one from the left is miss Ode Eberechukwu from Ukwagba ngbo in Ohaukwu LGA of Ebonyi State , she is the main agent who hunt for small children and young girls for them then she will receive her payment according to her work. The one from right hand side is miss Ituma Glory, 18yrs old from Ngbo court area of Ebonyi State who is also one of their agent who hunt for children for them.
My security team also recovered two persons from them who is in their custody they are miss Eze Onyedikachi 15 years old from Ngbo court in area and miss Igwe Ukamaka age 15yrs from same ngbocourt in Ohaukwu.
The suspect confessed that she z taking the recovered persons to Mrs Ifeoma from anambara State who is living in Lagos State so that she can send them to Bokinafaso. She confessed that it was Ode Eberechukwu that brought the girls to her for business as she call it.
She also confessed that she has sent 2 persons already to Bokinafaso where they pay her agent money of 10k for the charm she is preparing for all of them.
The suspect was also identified by one little boy, name Aja oge Marvelous from Ndulo Amike that she was the person that snatched his little baby boy Chidiebube Ajaoge when they were returning from Church on 29th January 2023, the victim’s parent’s name is Mr and Mrs Aja oge Emmanuel.
The suspect will be handed over to the department of Anti human trafficking of Ebonyi State CID before today runs off.
