Home Management Assessment Objectives and Examination Scheme

Objectives

The objectives of testing candidates in Home Management at the senior high school level are to assess their:

    • Basic skills needed in caring for the home and society

Examination Scheme

Paper 1: Multiple Choice Questions
  • 50 multiple-choice objective questions
  • 1 hour duration
  • 50 marks
Paper 2: Essay Questions
  • 6 essay questions
  • Candidates to answer 4 questions
  • 1 hour 15 minutes duration
  • 50 marks
Paper 3: Practical Test
  • 3 hour practical test
  • Conducted by a visiting examiner appointed by WAEC
  • 100 marks
